Replacing this pain with something numb…
It’s so much easier to go,
Than face all this pain here all alone!”

===================================
If yer readin’ this bro, I’m sorry.
But I’ve been thinking a lot since that day in The Great Unknown. I’ve been thinkin’ about Derek, and myself, and…it doesn’t make any damn sense to me.
Why did he do that? Why’d he have to go and fall in The Void like that? I mean, he was our friend, right? Why’d he leave us?
Thoughts like that drove me nuts for the longest time. Derek knew what he was doing, he knew what was going to happen…hard to admit it myself, but I finally did. He did what he did to save his friend. Even after witnessing Shadow’s craziness, Derek had this faith in him that was…oh what was the word…”unwavering,” or something.
I…I think I owe that kind of faith in Derek, too. I think he’s still alive, somewhere on this planet. The Void was a space-time…thingy right? Like Locke said? Well, if it’s only on our planet, then it would open up somewhere else on the planet, right? So maybe he is out there, somewhere.
I’m sorry I didn’t stick around, but this is somethin’ I gotta do on my own, at least for now. If you manage to catch up, then I’ll let you tag along, bro.
Later,
--Sonic.
Outskirts of Port Mobius, July 27,
3:40 PM
--------------------------------------------
Bane clicked off the small data-pad that contained Sonic’s message, letting out a heavy sigh. He shifted his gaze toward Shadow, who was about ten feet in front of him. Shadow stood at the top of a small hill, surveying the city of Port Mobius.
“Not a pretty sight, is it?” Bane asked.
“Eh…doesn’t look too bad from here,” The other shrugged, not looking back.
“Yeah, wait ‘till we’re inside. Not much to see except a bunch of scrappers.”
Shadow shook his head in discomfort. “Oh boy,” he said, his words dripping with sarcasm.
Bane walked his motorcycle and caught up with Shadow. The two black hedgehogs looked at the ominous city with a sense of unease. Bane felt it more than Shadow, though, since he’d been there a few times before.
“The place we’re lookin’ for is called ‘The Broken World,’ Bane stated.
“Charming…well at least the name fits,” Shadow scoffed, folding his arms.
“Hey, it’s a good place for information. If Sonic showed up in Port Mobius, they’d be the first to know. Sonic’s still somewhat of a celebrity around here, even if he’d never really paid Port Mobius a visit.”
Shadow eyed his companion. “How do you know so much about this place?”
Bane sighed again. “I used to be in a resistance faction that shacked up here. It got disbanded though. Not by Robotnik, but by some other, less honorable organizations within the city.”
“Crime rings?”
The crimson-clad hedgehog nodded. “I think that Nack guy was part of them for a time, too. Not sure though.”
“Mmmm,” Shadow nodded, pretending to actually care. “Well…guess we’d better look for this ‘Broken World’ place.”
“Yeah,” Bane nodded, as the two began the walk down the hill.
Station Square, July 27,
11:40 PM. (8 hour time difference)
---------------------------------------------
The torrential downpour crashed into Knuckles’ hood as he walked down a small side street with his human companion.
“You’d think the rain would let up a little,” Derek Shyfter sighed.
“There were some pretty bad rainy seasons on Angel Island, but nothing this bad. More like a light rain shower that lasted for a couple of weeks. This is just nuts,” The Echidna said, holding his arms out to the side and shaking the water off the sleeves.
“A couple of weeks? How’d you manage to keep watching the Emerald through all that?”
Knuckles looked skyward, letting the rain splash into his face. “I could easily stand in the rain without this coat on, but you and I both figured it’d be best if we hid ourselves for a bit, considering we still don’t know where we are.”
“You…can stand being soaked in the rain like this?”
The Echidna shrugged. “It’s just water. It’d feel just like taking a swim, without the floating sensation.”
“I…guess that makes sense. Well, I’m not exactly strong like you, and I don’t have any fur either. We should find somewhere inside to sit down.”
They both looked up and down the street, and the human pointed at a neon sign. “That place looks good,” Derek noted.
“’Extant Planet,’ huh?” Knuckles asked. “A bit strange for a name…what does ‘extant’ mean, anyways?”
Derek shook his head. “No idea, but it’s open. Let’s head in.”
The two crossed the street, splashing into a huge puddle that seemed to span the entire width. Derek lifted his foot in shock, and proceeded to dash across with the lightest steps he could take to avoid submerging his shoes in the water. Knuckles, on the other hand, just walked across like nothing was wrong.
“Man,” Derek said as he waited for his friend, “I didn’t want to get my socks wet…dammit…”
Knuckles chuckled. “Hey, good way to wash ‘em,” he mocked.
“Yeah, yeah…I don’t even want to think of what your feet smell like there, pal. I’ve never seen you even take ‘em off yet…”
“I don’t want to know either, why do you think I still keep them on?”
“Eww…” Derek shuddered, as Knuckles laughed harder.
The two headed inside Extant Planet, and glanced around. It was relatively empty, save maybe a couple sitting in the far corner of the room, and a bartender standing behind the bar, wiping down the counter.
“Hey guys, have a seat,” the bartender gestured. His Overlander face beamed a sense of kindness that seemed to be lacking in Station Square.
The two hooded figures walked up to the bar and sat down on the stools, Derek removing his hood as he did so.
“What’ll it be?”
Knuckles, still wearing his hood, raised a gloved finger. “Water.”
“Water? Didn’t get enough of it outside, eh?” The bartender joked.
The Echidna didn’t say a word, he just shrugged.
“O…kay…how about you?” He turned toward Derek.
“Uh…I think water will do for now…I can’t really afford much.”
“Ah, just had to get in outta the rain eh? Well, that’s fine by me. Haven’t seen you guys around here before. My name’s Pops, how about you?”
Knuckles remained silent, while Derek stretched his arms. “Derek,” he said.
“What about you?” The bartender pointed at the hooded one.
“He’s…not in a talkative mood right now,” Derek explained.
Pops nodded. “I understand, well I’ll leave you two to your water,” he said, sliding two glasses down the counter.
“Say Pops…” Derek raised a hand, “…I know this is an odd question, but…”
“Let me guess,” the bartender turned around. “You don’t know where you are?”
“How did you…?”
Pops smiled. “Trust me, kid. I’ve seen that look in your eyes with so many other people I’ve lost track. You’re not the first couple of guys who wandered into this town with no knowledge of where they are.”
Knuckles set his glass down somewhat loudly. “I bet none of them wandered in here like we did…”
“What was that?” Pops inquired.
“…Nothing.”
“We came here under some odd circumstances, that’s all,” Derek said.
The bartender nodded. “I see. So…where exactly shall I begin explaining all of this?”
“Just…tell us where we are,” Derek said.
“Ok…you’re in ‘Station Square,’ of the Overlander nation.”
“Overlanders…alright…” Derek nodded.
Pops raised an eyebrow. “You…still confused? You…do know you’re on Mobius, right?”
“What?!” Knuckles blurted, almost spitting out his water.
“Yeah…what, you guys didn’t even know what planet you were on?”
Derek hung his head in shame, not from embarrassment, but from his memories of the last few days.
…Days? Derek realized.
“Um, sir…do you know what…day it is?”
“Yep! July 27…right there on the calendar,” Pops pointed.
“July…”
“…Twenty-seventh?!” Knuckles finished Derek’s statement of shock.
“What, you guys don’t even know the date? Must’ve been one hell of a trip.”
“Eh…yeah. If you’ll excuse us, we’d like to go discuss something in…private,” Derek said, thumbing over towards a table in the back of the tavern.
“Sure thing…gotta figure out what you’re doing sometime, eh?” Pops said.
-----
The two shuffled back to the table and sat down across from each other. They both waited for the other to say something, but the silence clearly defined just how shocked they both were.
“We’re…still here,” Derek shook his head in amazement.
“Yeah…still on Mobius. I…I can’t believe it either.”
“And it’s been what, two months since then? It feels like we’ve been gone for about a week. Do you think that…”
“No other explanation for it. We traveled through time. Not too far forward, but there’s at least two months where we just…ceased to exist,” Knuckles said, shrugging. “It’s pretty incredible, but now we know. We’re still on our planet Mobius, and our friends are still alive. Sonic, and I’m sure Shadow’s out there too. He’s probably looking for you.”
“You think so?”
“Yeah…you did so much for him that…well…I know I’d be looking for you if I were him.”
Derek gave a little smirk. “Thanks.”
“No prob…now let’s see what we can do about getting some grub.”

It’s safe to say, they’ll try to take from me…
I’m just another one for them to break down…”

Port Mobius, July 27,
4:00 PM
----------------------------
Sonic the Hedgehog was bored.
The tavern he was staying at, “The Broken World,” was kind enough to put the hedgehog up in one of the upstairs rooms. There were only six of them, and they were kept in poor care, but it didn’t really matter. He wasn’t going to stay there long.
The room he had was one of the nicer rooms. It actually had two windows, and one of them faced the waterfront. The tavern itself was very close to one of the main piers, and Sonic’s window looked straight down it. All that water made him nervous, however. He’d never really learned how to swim…he’d never really had to. His legs were powerful enough to keep him away from most aquatic situations, but this time was different. This time, there was no escaping it; he had to cross the ocean to find Derek.
Reaching into his pocket, he retrieved two gems the size if his fist. One of them was green, and the other was yellow.
Chaos Emeralds.
Sonic looked at them for a second, wondering if they would do to him what they…did to Shadow. It was possible…could they have been the cause?
From what I saw, Shadow acted…normal after the Emeralds scattered.
The sun was nowhere close to setting yet, but it shined through the window at the perfect angle. The light entered into the crystalline bodies and refracted, spraying Sonic with yellow and green light. For a moment, he thought he could hear whispers.
Helpless…
“What?” he asked, glancing around nervously.
Weak…
Turning his gaze back toward the emeralds, his face hardened.
“You…you say somethin’?” he asked.
Powerless…
“No…you’re wrong. I’ll find him.”
Frail…
Sonic shot out of his chair and slammed his fist down on the table. “No! I’ll find him! And then I’ll show you! I’ll show you that I found him!”
“Um…sir…?” A youngster asked from the doorway.
Sonic snapped out of his angry trance, blushing a little. Turning his head he saw a man…no…a boy, looked about eleven. “Uh…sorry. What’s up?”
The boy shied away, almost leaving the room entirely. “Th-th-the b-boat’s arrived…it’s g-gonna leave at f-four t-thirty…”
“Four thirty? Alright, thanks. I’m on my way.”
Sonic scooped up the Emeralds and shoved them angrily into his pockets. As he walked toward the door, the boy’s face went almost white, as he stood there, petrified. Sonic knelt down and put his hand on the boy’s shoulder.
“Um…sorry you had to see that. See, I’m not a bad guy…”
The boy relaxed a little. “It…It’s o-okay…”
“Now, you’d better get back to your duties…don’t wanna get in trouble do ya?”
“N-no!” The boy said, running out of the room and down the stairs.
Sonic chuckled and shook his head. “I’m probably the last person to give a lecture on slacking off…man…I must be gettin’ too old.”
Thrusting his hands in his pockets, he headed down the stairs.
--------------------
“You do know where you’re going, right?” Shadow asked.
“I…think it’s this way, but I haven’t been here in seven years or so,” Bane admitted.
They were standing in the main square of Port Mobius, which wasn’t as “bustling” as most town squares are. It was unnervingly quiet, and the lack of people left the two black hedgehogs feeling…uneasy.
“Pretty quiet…” Bane said.
“If you say ‘too quiet,’ I’ll smack you.”
“Well…it is.”
In the middle of north side of the square stood a large clock tower…it was the defining monument to this entire town. It towered at least thirty stories over the two hedgehogs, and looked older than most of the town…even though that wasn’t saying very much.
Turning their backs to the clock tower, Shadow and Bane looked down the main street that led up to the square. One man stood in the center, looked to be a cat in species.
“You guys! Is one of you named…Bane?”
The crimson-clad hedgehog glanced around. “Uh…yeah…that’s me, why?”
“So the other guy’s Shadow then?”
Shadow put his hands on his hips. “What’re you getting at?!”
The cat didn’t respond, instead he took off further down the street.
“Hey! Wait!” Bane commanded.
The two began to chase, but Bane skidded to a halt, holding his hand in front of Shadow as well.
Shadow was going to complain, but before he could utter a word, he heard a loud crack, and saw something flash in front of his eyes and sink into the ground, about five feet in front of the two.
A bullet.
The sound of large machines marching came from behind the two then. At first it sounded like two, then three, then five, then nine, then…
When they turned around, there were ten robots, five heavily armored SWAT-bots, and five hovering pursuit droids, which specialized in high-speed captures. On the face of the clock tower, a small door was open where it wasn’t before. That meant only one thing. A sniper.
Nack… Bane immediately thought.
Pulling out his revolvers, Bane fired two rounds into the nearest SWAT-bot, only to watch them bounce off harmlessly.
“Dammit! I’ll have to take the pursuit droids!”
Shadow cracked his knuckles. “I’ll take on the SWAT-bots.”
“You sure? I thought that energy of yours was limited…”
“It is, but it’s been long enough…I’m sure it came back by now.”
“All right…just be careful around the sniper fire.”
Shadow rolled his eyes. “I’ll be fine.”
-----
As Sonic hit the bottom of the stairs, he was confused. Everyone in the tavern was watching out of the front windows, what they were watching remained to be seen.
“What’s goin’ on?” He asked.
The bartender answered first. “Fang the Sniper’s got a couple of targets, he’s taking care of them right now. I guess he got himself a few of Robotnik’s bots to help him too…dunno why he’d need that many. It’s just two hedgehogs.”
“What? Hedgehogs?!” Sonic’s eyes widened. “Who? Who are his targets?!”
“I dunno…they look like black hedgehogs from here, one of ‘em is wearin’ red.”
“Red?!”
Bane…?
Pushing hard off the counter, Sonic charged out the door, showing everyone in the bar just what he was known for.
-----
Shadow and Bane stood perfectly still, glaring up at Nack. He was visible in the door now, with his rifle sticking out and all.
“I hope you two don’t mind! Business is business, after all!” Nack shouted. “Fang the Sniper’s gotta make his money somehow!”
Shadow nudged Bane in the side. “You hear that…?”
“What?”
“Sounds like…someone’s running toward us…but it’s coming really fast…”
“You think it’s…Sonic?”
“Sorry gentlemen, but I can’t let him get in the way now!”
The barrel of Nack’s rifle tilted upward a bit. The muzzle-flash came before the actual gunshot sound, but Bane’s instinct kicked in before then. Launching backward, he twisted his body so that he faced behind him, pushing somebody down on the ground. The bullet bounced off the pavement behind them.
“What’s the big idea…?” A familiar voice said.
“Sonic…you gotta be more careful,” Bane smirked, as the two stood.
“Where’s Nack?” Sonic asked.
Shadow pointed toward the door in the clock face.
“Hey Nack!” Sonic shouted. “Hey, you want a target! Why don’t you come after me?”
Bane shot a worried look at Sonic. “What are you doing?”
“Relax…he won’t hit me, I’m too fast. You guys handle the bots, Nack’s pride will keep his sights on me.”
“It will?”
Sonic gave a knowing smirk. “We’ve had…a few run-ins.”
Bane ran back to his bike and hopped on, revving the engines a few times.
“Ready?” He asked.
“Set…” replied Shadow.
Sonic glanced skyward at Nack one more time.
“…Go!”
-------------
Pulling his bike onto the back tire, Bane sped forward, right into the middle of the pursuit droids. They were in a triangular formation, but their reaction time was somewhat slow. They weren’t meant to stop people coming at them…their function was to disable fleeing vehicles and then capture.
The one in the back, in the middle was going to be the problem. Bane pulled out his revolvers, holding them both in one hand, leaving his other one on the throttle. He lowered the front end of his bike and aimed the guns at the central droid, aiming for the aerial stabilizers. He squeezed hard in order to pull both triggers, and the familiar pull was doubled. The insane amount of recoil almost threw him off balance.
The bullets tore through the right stabilizer, forcing the bots hovering unit to tilt upward to the right, and forced the bot to crash into the ground, out of Bane’s way.
That’s one…
The four remaining droids turned on their sirens and red lights, which seemed odd at this point. Bane wasn’t going to just stop for them, that much was obvious.
The street he was speeding down wasn’t very narrow, unfortunately. All four droids followed him in their same formation, without their decommissioned comrade. Fortunately, Nack had the common courtesy to “warn” everyone in town to stay inside.
His positioning didn’t give him any clear shots, however. Not only were the droids behind him, they were also airborne, and Bane couldn’t really aim back and up behind him at the same time. So he kept riding. The street began a slow curve to the left, and when the turn started, the front two droids began to increase their speed.
They want to catch me off balance…right.
He put his pistols back in his pockets, holding one hand on the throttle and letting his other hang loose. He knew their methods…he knew what was coming.
The sound of machinery clunking and clicking into place signaled the arrival of the “stop spikes.” Six-inch spikes meant to be fired into ones tires for…obvious reasons.
Three…two…one…
Bane pulled back on the bars, once again forcing his bike onto the back tire. The droids fired, and Bane instinctively grabbed his blade out of its sheath and swung it behind him, over the back tire. The blade deflected the two spikes away, as they clinked behind him on the sidewalks.
Leveling his bike again, he released the throttle, coasting for a bit. The droids matched speeds, but Bane then slammed on the brakes, swinging his right arm outward. He forced his blade to slice through the stabilizer of the right droid as it sped in front of him. The bot veered into a nearby building and demolished.
The other three bots were in front of him how, and Bane stopped his bike. Pulling out his revolvers again, he aimed them at the two in front as they circled around. Hitting each one in the engine, he managed to destroy any chance they had of stopping. They both slammed into the buildings on either side of the street, and crashed to the ground in a crumpled mass of metal and debris.
There was only one now. Bane put his guns away and unsheathed his katana once more. His eyes hardening, he sped forward, and the droid lowered itself to block his escape. Bane, however, wasn’t concerned with escape right now.
Launching off the seat of the bike, Bane leapt high into the air, letting his motorcycle slide underneath. He held his blade above his head, pointing downward. When he reached his target, he fashioned a new sheath for his sword, right into the robot’s CPU unit.
The robot jerked left and right due to the severed circuitry inside, and eventually the power to its hovering units died. The droid slowly fell toward the ground, where Bane jumped and back-flipped off, landing perfectly.
“I win.” He said, smiling.
-----
Shadow kicked on his rocket boots and sped right for the SWAT-bots. They didn’t fire right away, as Shadow’s sudden burst of speed caught their sensors off guard.
Energy began to crackle in between Shadow’s fingertips as he called forth the powers he commanded. Side effects from prolonged exposure to the Chaos Emeralds…that was his only explanation for it. He didn’t complain though. They gave him the destructive power he needed in order to get the job done. This was why he opted to take the bots. When bullets can’t touch the armor, Shadow’s energy blasts could. They had a short range though, so Shadow had to get in nice and close.
Laser fire began to spray over the streets, as Shadow darted in and out of it in effort to get close enough. Finally he reached one of the targets and called forth the energies from within, willing them to activate out of his right hand. The blast destroyed the center of the bot’s chest, which was enough to deactivate it.
The other four concentrated their fire on Shadow’s position, but it was already too late. Another kick of the rocket boots caused Shadow to get behind another of the bots, and he unleashed his energy again, this time into a large energy reserve in the back. It was primarily a backup generator for the bots but still very unstable. The blast ruptured the energy tank into an explosion of electricity, which arced to another nearby bot. The overload of electricity through the bot’s circuits eventually fried the CPU, which was apparent from the amount of smoke arising from the head.
Two left…
Shadow jumped into the air, using the rockets to boost him higher. The nearest SWAT-bot was also hit with a bit of the electrical discharge, so it was slightly stunned. It was enough time for Shadow to land on the bot’s huge shoulders. He called the energies forth again, this time in both hands. The power crackled between his fingertips as he rested his hands on the back of the bot’s head.
“G’night!” he shouted, unleashing the energy and back flipping off the bot.
Once he landed on the ground, he realized his folly. That last bot drained the last of his controllable energy, but there was one SWAT-bot still standing. His worry changed to unwavering resolve as a plan formulated in his head. Speeding toward the bot, he dodged the shots coming his way.
Jumping once more, he brought his right foot out to the side in order to kick the robot. Bringing his left foot up to kick the activator switch on the rocket boots, he used the force of the propulsion to slam his foot into the bot’s head. The SWAT-bot fell to the ground, minus its CPU.
“Didn’t even break a sweat,” he said after he landed.
-----
Sonic darted back and forth across the square, dodging the shots that Nack fired.
“C’mon ‘Fang!’ Can’t hit something that moves?”
Another shot, and Sonic just darted away, laughing as he did so. Of all people, Sonic was a sniper’s worst nightmare. They were meant to shoot at moving targets, sure, but not targets that could potentially move faster than their bullets.
A third shot, another effortlessly dodged bullet. A fourth came, and Sonic just gleefully stepped aside, only moving about six feet or so.
This time however, he’d pushed his luck too far. A fifth bullet came flying out, which surprised Sonic and caused him to jump to the side…right into the path of the real fifth shot.
What Nack did was very sneaky. He’d fired one of his pistols to distract Sonic, then took his real shot.
The bullet blazed through the hedgehog’s arm, causing him to cry out. Crimson sprayed on the street, and the color of blood began to soak through the white sleeve of his tunic. He dashed for cover and sat there, moaning loudly from the pain. It went in and out, didn’t even stay in…perhaps that was why it was so painful…there were technically two wounds there.
The green Chaos Emerald rolled out of his pocket and flickered slightly.
Frail…
“No!” Sonic shouted, clutching the Emerald and grabbing the yellow one out of his pocket. The energy inside the gems flared up, and a warm sensation washed over Sonic’s wound. It wasn’t the feeling of blood…this felt more…nurturing. He watched in amazement as the wound in his arm began to heal. When the wound closed, Sonic wiped the blood away to see if it really did happen.
“I’m…not hallucinating…they healed me!”
Giving a mischievous smile, he held each Emerald in his hands, and felt the energy welling up inside of him.
Dashing out from his cover, he faced the clock tower once more. It read 4:27.
Three minutes…
He sped right for the tower, zigzagging a little to throw off the shots. When he reached the structure, he didn’t stop, and began to run up the wall. Nack’s rifle aimed downward, but it was obvious that he didn’t expect this, nor did he have the ability to really aim at a blue hedgehog running up the side of a building.
At this point, Sonic was outrunning the pull of gravity, a feat that was normally impossible for him, but this time was different. This time he had the Chaos Emeralds to help…and it did the trick.
Once he reached the door of the clock, he launched off the wall, driving his foot into the barrel of the rifle. Once he was parallel with the ground, he found his way back to the ground. There was a long couple of metallic ropes that stretched from the top of the clock tower to nearby buildings, and it was the perfect angle to ride down to the bottom.
With “Maestro” plummeting toward the street below, Nack had lost.
“See ya!” Sonic said, landing on one of the ropes.
Nack fumed with anger, and pulled out his pistols. Firing at the hedgehog, his anger caused him to lack the proper aim to hit him, and soon he’d emptied the chambers completely.
Sonic smiled as he grinded down the ropes. The bullets Nack fired flew right by him, and he paid them no mind as he reached the top of the building. From there, he just ran down the side and into the square once again, where he caught Nack’s rifle.
4:30 P.M.
The three hedgehogs regrouped in the middle of the square.
“Guys! There’s a boat headed across the ocean, where Derek is! It’s leaving at four-thirty!” Sonic shouted, worried.
“But…we’ll never make it to the boat in time!” Bane exclaimed.
Shadow, feeling the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic’s pockets, put his hand on the azure hedgehog’s shoulder. “Sonic can.”
“Me…?”
“Yeah, just run as fast as you can, and jump for the ship. You have the ability to jump pretty far, you’ll make it.”
“I…guess it’s worth a try. Bane…I’m…”
“Sorry, I know,” Bane interrupted. “But if at least one of us can get to Derek, then it’s better than nothing. Shadow and I will find another way across the ocean.”
“Thanks Bane…I’ll email you when I get to the boat!”
And with that, Sonic sped off toward the pier.
“Why…did you say Sonic could make it? I don’t think he can,” Bane asked.
“He has two Chaos Emeralds on him…I felt them. He has the ability…but I’m worried.”
“You think they’ll do to him what they did to you?”
Shadow solemnly nodded. “Yes…maybe even worse…”
-----
Sonic held the Emeralds once more as he dashed down the long pier. The boat was already about a hundred feet away and moving pretty fast. Sonic felt his fears building up again. What if he missed? All that water…
Helpless…
He tightened his grip on the Emeralds, and when he reached the end of the pier, he jumped as hard as he could.
Everyone in “The Broken World” that day would walk away with a story about a blue hedgehog who managed to leap to an already departed ship…

Comments
I loved the descriptions of the Nack vs. Sonic scenes.
It will be intersting to see what Derek & Knuckles do next. ^_^
LOL I sooooooooo love that part ^-^

They call me Sonic,
Cause I'm faster than sound I keep jumping around!
Blue hedgehog Sonic,
With increadible speed, I'm moving my feet!

One tip, though... you should describe the surroundings a bit more. The action scenes were great, but the scenery could have used a little brush-up so I knew just exactly where everyone was jumping and running and stuff.

Thanks, I'll try working on that in the future.
